Tro Håp Kjærlighet

“Tro Håp Kjærlighet” (“Faith Hope and Charity”) by Ödön von Horváth was performed at Vega Scene in 2021.

It was the diploma production of the graduating acting students at Høyskolen Kristiania, class of 2021.

In a deprived and corrupt war-ridden society, we follow the young Elisabeth in her attempts to create a decent life for herself.

On her journey, she meets with people in power and people in deep despair in a dark comedy painting a bleak portrait of a self-destructive and lost humankind.

Being let down by the police officer she falls in love with, she throws herself in the river. The police mourn the death of Elisabeth until it’s time to march in their annual parade around the city!
